Context: collaboration in a growing team
Eres Relocation operates in an international environment where collaboration, communication, and adaptability are key. As teams grow and evolve, maintaining strong connections between colleagues becomes increasingly important. To support this, Eres Relocation organized a team-building day focused on strengthening collaboration and team dynamics.
The challenge: turning differences into connection
Within diverse teams, differences in communication style, perspective, and working approach are inevitable. While these differences can be a source of strength, they can also create distance if they are not actively explored and understood. The challenge was therefore not only to bring people together, but to create meaningful interaction—helping team members better understand both their similarities and their differences.
"Really enjoyed this training giving us more insight and a real eye opener. It was great that we were able to interact and get to know our similarities and differences and take this new teaching to our work place and use this knowledge on a daily basis."
The approach: interactive learning in practice
Mazzi-Inc. designed a cultural awareness workshop tailored to this setting. The session, led by Alicia, combined short theoretical insights with interactive exercises. Participants worked in different group settings, allowing them to experience collaboration from multiple perspectives. The emphasis was on engagement. Rather than passively listening, participants were actively involved throughout the session—reflecting, interacting, and applying insights directly.
"Very good training to learn and to team building at the same time. Very interactive and interesting which made everybody engage with the subject and with their colleagues."
The impact: insight, energy, and connection
The workshop created a noticeable shift in how participants engaged with one another. Through interaction, team members gained new insights into their own behavior and that of their colleagues. Differences became more visible—but also more understandable. Participants described the session as interactive, engaging, and immediately relevant to their daily work. “It gave us more insight and was a real eye-opener.” The combination of learning and team-building strengthened both awareness and connection within the team.
Looking ahead
The experience highlights an important principle: when teams actively explore differences, collaboration becomes stronger. By creating space for interaction, reflection, and shared experience, organizations can turn diversity into a practical advantage in everyday teamwork.
